Weight Loss (Cut it Out)

This category can be sorted into two chief classes namely the intentional weight loss category and the unintentional weight loss category. The former category includes losing weight purposefully through the means of a diet or some kind of a physical exercise. The later category is the one category where weight lost is not deliberate and may be the symptom of some other serious malady that has yet not presented itself and should be gotten checked by a medical practitioner at the earliest.

It basically involves a reduction in the fluids present in the body in addition to the fats. This reduction can owe to either the usage of some medication or could be a pointer to some kind of sickness, the most common one being anorexia. In some cases it is common and expected, like for e.g. post childbirth.

If the weight loss is intended then in that case a proper plan should be devised and carried out for a positive outcome. The diet should not mean the elimination of nutrients rather it should aim more at the reduction in the intake of fats and an increment in the levels of physical movements and exercises. A medical practitioner should be consulted who is likely to make a diet chart for you after taking into consideration your maturity level, your stature and your formation in addition to the body weight.

Several diets that are unrealistic should be avoided especially the ones that negate the use of carbohydrates. This leads to fluid retention, which shows diminished weight on the weighing machine, but in reality does nothing to help you in the long-term.

In case of unintentional weight loss a medical practitioner should be consulted at the onset of the first symptoms. In accordance to the reason behind it, treatment is appropriate treatment is meted out to the affected.
